Welcome to my first ever blog post! I'm so excited to be able to share my information and experiences on a wide variety of topics. My name is Kaitlyn Quinn and in May I will be 25 years old. I was born and raised in Washington state. Like most people raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, my childhood was filled outdoor adventures. I graduated from Kennewick High School in 2010 and joined the Army National Guard in 2011 as a combat medic. In 2016, I deployed to Kuwait and Iraq with the 176th Engineer Company. The highlight of my time overseas was being apart of a project to build a hospital in Iraq. I was excited to know that I had contributed to something that would allow many more lives to be saved by providing emergency care that normally meant a very long evacuation time.
