Looking for an Amazing Vehicle?? Check this out!
I recently purchased a 2016 Jeep Renegade and let me just say that I am in love with this highly versatile vehicle that I know will meet all the needs that I have for years to come.
I'm going to share my five favorite things about my Jeep. In my family, we name our vehicles. So, after careful consideration and even searching a few baby name pages for ideas, I decided to call him Toby.
So let's get started with my list!
1.) The Back- up Camera
Now this may not be a standard feature but I really enjoy the convenience of having the screen display what's behind me. I'm a petite girl and in the past, I've actually had to use the passenger seat headrest to help pull me out of my seat so I could get a good view of what's behind me while backing up.
Also, I'm terrible at parallel parking. I know I'm not the only one. I think that it's a skill that you learn to get a driver's license but you lose very quickly if you don't practice that skill frequently. Now, I can use the back- up camera to assist me so I don't have to stress about accidently tapping the car behind me.
Even if this isn't your kind of vehicle, I highly recommend that your next new ride has this feature.
2.) Remote Start
Now, I haven't had the chance to use this like someone would at home since I live on the third floor of the barracks. I can't wait to be able to do this at home. However, I can start my vehicle from down in the lobby on a cold morning and then arrive to a warm vehicle.
I've always hated being cold so this is a must have winter feature if you're like me and live somewhere it gets cold.
3.) The Open Windshield
It's really important to me to be able to see what's happening on the road when I'm driving especially on the freeway. Living in the Tacoma and Seattle area means that the roads are almost always busy and many drivers are in a hurry to get to their destination.
I hated all the blind spots in my last car and it lead to some almost accidents. My Renegade has a really big windshield that allows a really clear view of the entire road.
4.) The On Screen Information Display
My Jeep has an electronic display that displays my speed but it also has a lot of other information to offer by flipping to the eight other screens with the buttons on the steering wheel. It can tell me about the pressure in each of my tires, my average gas mileage, and information to let me know that my vehicle is running smoothly. This is a great thing for Toby because I'm hoping to keep him around for many years to come.
5.) Ability to Convert for Extra Storage Space
At first glance, the trunk space doesn't appear to be large enough if you need to move something large. This was my immediate concern when I was viewing it for the first time at the dealership because I wont be living at the Warrior Transition Battalion forever and I'm going to need to pack up my stuff to move back home.
I was surprised to learn that unlike a lot of vehicles that the back seats only fold partially forward due to the headrests on the rear seats being in the way, these headrests remove completely with only the touch of a button.
There is also a really cool hidden compartment underneath the trunk area. It could be used as a place to hide any valuables that you leave in your vehicle so people with poor morals won't be tempted to break in to the car.
Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase. If any of you own the same vehicle then judge my list and let me know if you agree or what features you love more.
